Working alongside a valued long-standing client, Ribbon Projects were once again invited to bring their design expertise to a CAT A+ fit-out of the third floor of the prominent New Bridge Street building, located in a sought-after central London location close to the river.
Constructed in the 19th century, no. 6 was originally multiple buildings, but today stands as a contemporary six floor multi-let office space. The landlord was keen to demonstrate to potential tenants, the way in which the floor could be utilised as an agile workspace.
Using the unorthodox floor plate to their benefit, Ribbon created a series of high-density open plan work areas. These were interspersed with zoning furniture, poseur height work benches, high-backed meeting pods and banks of plant-topped lockers, enabling agile workspace activity whilst also adding some softness and homeliness to the space. The specification included a combination of refurbished seating alongside new furniture, in order to maximize the budget.
