In 2022 with the office landscape in flux, Coats were looking to create a new Central London facility to act as a multi-purpose hub. As well as providing for the day-to-day core office-based staff and those needing the occasional touch-down point when travelling, the space had to accommodate a state-of-the-art conference room to enable the global board members to meet, both in-person and remotely.

Working alongside our supply chain in an open, honest and collaborative way helped to ensure we delivered on Coats objectives to create this high quality, high-performing and sustainable space.

To meet the various demands of brief, there was no choice but to focus on efficiency. Careful space planning was crucial, as was delivering the correct level of specification. Lighting levels, audio visuals, acoustics, heating, cooling and ventilation were all thoroughly detailed to ensure a faultless end-user experience, harmoniously finished with warm, inviting palette.
