JLHO, experts in specialist protection assurance, were prompted to locate to new premises as their lease was coming to an end. They had been in their existing offices for a long period of time and were keen that their new workspace reflected their current brand and the professional services that they offer, as well as feeling warm and welcoming.
A new lease was secured within the Grade II listed Eastcheap Estate in the financial district of London. The second floor office space boasts roof lights with breath-taking views of 20 Fenchurch Street, affectionately known as the Walkie Talkie building, towering above the City.
JLHO were introduced to Ribbon Projects through a recommendation from a mutual contact. With the impending lease imminent, Ribbon were appointed on a design and build basis to modify the CAT A+ landlord fit-out to better suit the company brand and client requirements.
The works included refreshing finishes throughout, including a full decorations package and new timber and carpet tile flooring. New cabling was installed to suit client needs and new tops were retrofitted to desks and meeting room tables, so that furnishings aligned with the company brand. An added benefit that was provided in the meeting room, turned an odd nook in the wall into a clever storage space, also doubling up as an acoustic feature.
Despite external influences on the programme, and the project also coinciding with a busy holiday period, the project was delivered on time.
