Quba Solutions were incorporated in 2012, and following a period of huge growth they realised the potential benefits of consolidating several office locations into one central base. The business settled on impressive landmark Southampton building Concept House as their new headquarters. Following a competitive three-way pitch, Ribbon Projects were appointed as Workplace Designers.

With a further period of substantial growth forecasted, the project brief was focused on an installation which felt welcoming from the outset, with the flexibility to accommodate a workforce that was predicted to almost double in size over the coming years.

At the core of the space is a spacious breakout area. This space is the heart of the office, with a relaxed and open feel, making it a multi-functional space suitable for town halls, informal meetings and presentations, as well as for preparing and eating refreshments. The finishes in this area include rich, warm-toned timber joinery, giving the space a contemporary and inviting feel.

Throughout the office, a wide range of furniture was utilised to create a range of different work settings. Alongside the new pieces, some reconditioned seating was utilised. This meant that Quba were able to achieve a high level and quality specification across the project, whilst also hitting their budget.
